On Saturday, October 4th, 2025 Bourbon City Brawl will be presenting a "Move to Contact" styled 30 point Midwar Flames of War Tournament.The Tournament Organizer for this event will be Chad Underdonk.

The tournament will consist of five 30 point games, each with a 70 minute period of play on a 48"x48" table. The missions have been custom created for quick, small, intense games. We highly recommend that prospective players review the missions listed in the discussion for this event and give them a thorough reading and playtesting so they will be best prepared for the tournament. This will be an open tournament, and will NOT be using a red vs blue format. There are 32 slots for players, and all tables will be provided.

Each player should create a 30 point, LEGAL, Mid-War, formation from any of the available V4 Mid-War books. The formation must include all black box units. As part of their formation players may not choose any units with a side armor greater than a 6. The Soviet command card "Decoy Platoon" may not be taken. Players should also be cautioned that Deep Reserves (applying to FA4 or higher) will be featured for all players in all missions to discourage Light Tank Hordes from overwhelming the tables. Also note that in a 30 point force the maximum number of points that will start on the board is 18 points (60% of the available total). Since this is a small game we will not use the "ignore the 1st destroyed platoon" for victory points rule.
Players should submit their lists for approval no later than 10am Wednesday October the 1st. Lists can be submitted to [email protected]
Players should bring 7 copies of their list on the day of the tournament, there will be no printer available at the event.
BCB Bucks will be awarded by random ticket draw. With a maximum of one award per player
Each player will receive tickets for the following:
1 ticket - playing in the event
1 ticket - submitting your list by 10am Wednesday October 1st
1 ticket - Winning 3 or more games
1 ticket - Winning 4 or more games
1 ticket - Winning 5 games
1 ticket - 3 Votes for Best Opponent
1 ticket - 4 Votes for Best Opponent
1 ticket - 5 Votes for Best Opponent
1 ticket - Every 2 votes for Best Paint
