About this Event

BOUND: A WEEKEND OF ROPE

… A Kazami level 1 and level 2 focused intensive rope skill week.

$150 deposit required for your spot, tickets booked PER TYING PAIR - two people.

Presented by the Toronto Kinbaku Salon and brought to you by London Rope Social, Bound is a weekend of amazing rope education to accelerate your learning and elevate your Shibari rope skills! Bound is taught by @NightwolfAJ, a Toronto Kinbaku Salon instructor.

Our vision has always been to elevate the London rope community through great learning and  sharing. Bringing AJ to London for this event is going to improve all of our skills, and we are absolutely thrilled to curate this event for the community. We have been able to attend multiple classes and intensives taught by AJ. His teaching style is approachable, dynamic, and responsive – a perfect blend for rope education!

At the Toronto Kinbaku Salon, rope education is done in a series of Level classes - levels one through four. During the Bound weekend, you’ll have an amazing opportunity to dive into two levels and get ahead of the game if you want to “graduate” from the Salon’s program in the future. There are NO prerequisites for the intensives (usually, you could only do Level 2 if you’ve passed Level 1).

BOOKING YOUR TICKETS: Join us for the whole weekend for $450 (Save $50 and payment plan available!), or focus on level 1 in the mornings for $250 and level 2 in the afternoons for $250.

Some of the things you’ll explore with AJ over the May weekend:

May 4 - Day 1 offers two separate intensives …

  1. Morning - Kazami Level 1 focus, understanding and identifying nerves and nerve paths, tension and adapting/modifying chest harness’ for your bottoms needs. Learning the Kazami-ryu chest harness - one of the most comfortable and stable chest harnesses ever designed.

  1. Afternoon - introduction to Kazami Level 2, line management for floor play predicaments, partial predicaments and suspension, lock offs, hands free harness

May 5 - Day 2 intensives continue to build on day one…

  1. Morning - Kazami Level 1 focus and adapting/modifying chest harness for your bottoms needs.

  1. Afternoon - introduction to Kazami Level 2, line management for floor play predicaments, partial predicaments and suspension, lock offs, hands free harness.
  2. Option to test for Kazami Level 1 certification

Attending both the morning and the afternoon intensives will leave you with a solid base upon which to continue building your rope skills.
