JP is the co-founder and owner of Smitten Kitten, a pioneering adult retail store in Minneapolis that has made a significant impact both locally and nationally. With a strong commitment to social responsibility, JP advocates for equitable access to pleasure and believes that comprehensive sex education is a fundamental human right and a tool for liberation. This dedication has contributed to Smitten Kitten’s remarkable 22-year legacy as an institution in Minneapolis.

At Smitten Kitten, JP carefully curates the selection of safe, non-toxic products that meets their high standards, all while promoting the message that pleasure is for Every Body. They emphasize that pleasure should be accessible, consensual, and free of shame.

 Outside of their work, JP focuses on personal growth and actively engages in anti-racism and anti-oppression efforts in the Twin Cities. They advocate for the Minneapolis trans community and find balance through their passion for weightlifting. In their downtime, JP also enjoys spending time with their loved ones—both human and canine—and sharing many Insomnia cookies with the Smitten Kitten Family.
