About this Event
Welcome to Botanical patterns- printing onto textiles! Join us at The Old Miners Institute in Bridgend, UK for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to create beautiful prints on fabric using nature inspired botanical motifs.
Let your creativity flow as you experiment with different techniques using stenicils and silk screen printing combined with experimental mark making. No experience necessary, just come ready to have fun and get crafty! Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your inner artist.
This workshop also makes a wonderful present - buy someone a place, or book for you and a friend!
Learn the art of layering colours and textures, and create your own, vivid designs on fabric. Explore colour, shapes, and texture and how to use it in the print workshop, run by Justyna Medon head of Addicted toPatterns studio, a professional wallpaper & textile printer who will guide you through the process and inspire you to create your own patterns.
During this session you will experiment with layering the ink and creating textured prints, it's very easy to become addicted to hand printing and pattern.
