Artist Bev Rhodes will lead us in learning botanical printing. Hi ladies, don't forget to book your place so we can get your supplies ready for geli printing 🙂
During this 2 hrs workshop with artist Bev Rhodes you will learn how to create an effective pattern or composition using a wide range of botanical objects and textures and use these to create unique prints which can be used as greeting cards, gift tags, handmade journals or be framed.
You will be shown how to select and apply coloured inks using a brayer and transfer these to make your prints.
This workshop is suitable for beginners. During this session students can expect to make at least 10 A5 prints.
Once you know how to do Geli-plate printing you'll want to continue experimenting with this versatile technique at home and you will be given information about what equipment and materials you might need to do more printing at home and how to make your own Geli-plate to whatever size or shape you .You will get a chance to learn techniques that you can use in a variety of crafts including cards, home decor and collage. if you are a gardener you could bring along something you grow as a record of it for yoyr wall ir gardening journal.
Everything you need will be provided on the evening.
