Missouri Botanical Garden
Our annual Japanese Festival is one of the largest and longest running festivals of its kind in the United States, presenting taiko drumming, bon odori festival dancing, martial arts, candlelight walks in the Japanese Garden, and more. Doors open at 9 a.m. Last entry on Labor Day (September 2) at 4:30 p.m. Festival admission required to visit the Garden. Please note: No trams, free hours or early morning walking hours on signature event weekends. Regular admission rates to the Children’s Garden apply.

$16 adults (ages 13 and up)
$8 children (ages 12 and under)
$8 Garden members
Free for Garden member children (ages 3–12)
Free for children age 2 and under

We would like to have a couple meetups throughout the festival for group photos.
Any outfits and cosplays are welcome as long as they align with any guidelines that the Botanical garden might have.
There will be a specific time for kimono group photo shoots, so keep an eye out for that.
This is an opportunity for networking or meeting new friends in the area. Please don't forget to bring your business cards or little gifts with your url or business name on them for networking ~
We are super excited to go to the Japanese Festival in 2024! We are in no way affiliated with the Botanical garden or any of the festivities taking place. This posting is strictly for cosplay meetups, networking and photo shoots throughout the event!
At normal times the Missouri Botanical Garden has group ticket pricing and food vouchers. Not sure if that is an option yet for the festival, but we will update you as we get that information. If you are interested in potential ticket discounts and food vouchers for the event, please contact The Ramen Shop. If this option becomes available we will create a dedicated chat/group for that information.
