We are extremely excited to have an opportunity to gather with the incredible gardeners, farmers, and herbalists who helped us create Botanica; Gardens, Landscapes, and Plant Medicines of South Louisiana. Join us for a night in the beautiful upstairs gallery of the Cabildo overlooking Jackson Square. Participants will include representatives from Sprout NOLA, Backyard Gardener’s Network, Speakeasy Farm, Subtle Fields, and Grow Dat Youth Farm, and VEGGI Farmers' Coop (right before they head off to Vietnam!) The exhibition will be open to explore, and herbalists Rachael Reeves, Jenna Mae, and Nikki Minor will have hands-on installations to learn more about the healing properties of plants.
Copies of Nikki Minor’s zine, Chicory, will be distributed to attendees.
This event is FREE, but registration is required.
