Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series offers Bostonians and visitors FREE virtual and in-person workout classes. Open to all fitness levels.
About this Event

BotaFogo, meaning “to set on fire”, is a great workout that combines dance and fitness all in one. Much like other dance fitness programs, it involves cardio and some strength training. Bota Fogo utilizes visual cues making it more accessible to both Deaf and hearing dancers. Come break a sweat to the sounds of Brazilian music genres such as Samba, funk, pagode, and more. The best part is, it doesn’t require previous dance experience! Just follow the instructor and have fun!
