Boston Outdoor Expo Workshop Sign Up

Join us at the Boston Outdoor Expo and hang out at the Bushcraft Zone sponsored by Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival. There are many workshops, how-tos, and speeches offered during this weekend. These classes are free of charge to expo attendees. Because of the high volume of people attending the expo, we are limiting class sign ups to 1 class per person for this weekend. • April 27th 12:15-1:00 - Basic Wood Carving Techniques
• April 27th 2:30-3:15 - Making Rope From Plants
• April 27th 3:30-4:15 - Knife Basics, Sharpening, and Feather Sticks

SUNDAY

• April 28th 11:15-12:00 - Rope Making From Plants
• April 28th 1:30-2:15 - Basic Wood Carving Techniques
• April 28th 2:30-3:15 - Knife Basics, Sharpening, and Feather Sticks

All materials and tools will be provided. Knives, sharpeners, and other cool products will be available for sale during the entire expo. Come by the Bushcraft Zone to hang out with us to see all of our examples, buy survival gear, sharpen your knife, ask questions, and to say hi!

Class sign up policy: We will welcome anyone who is excited to learn and be respectful to people of all ages and backgrounds in our classes. We kindly ask that you are a few minutes early to the class to make sure you are ON TIME. These classes are generally short and we unfortunately can not accomodate you if you are late and your spot will be filled with someone on the waitlist. There will be no exceptions to this rule as we are teaching knife safety at the beginning of class and need all students to be there for the entirety of the class.

Waitlist policy: If a class is full, you are welcome to join in on the waitlist. You MUST be present at the start of the class to join the class. You are on the waitlist, so you may not be able to join the class if all students showed up. You are more than welcome to hang out and watch the class, but we may not have tools for you to use. Each class is limited to 15 students.

All classes will be taught by Tim Swanson, founder and lead instructor of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival. Join in on Tim's speech Sunday April 28th at 12:15-1:00 on the inspiration stage. He will be talking about getting into survival and bushcraft.
