Are games art? Who cares, because this time we're looking at art art. Michael Berthaud will talk about his illuminating interactive art exhibit, Sweet Spot. It's an LED statue about expectations and the black experience and it's powered by... Godot!?
(So like... games as art confirmed!?)
The talk will focus more heavily on the hefty technical work and how it intersects with the design. How do you render from Godot to LED? How do these kinds of constraints inform what you can do when designing? Come, listen, and get these kinds of questions answered.
After the talk, we'll roll over to Flat Top Johnny's for pinball and drinks and hot dogs.
