TWELVE YEARS AGO, we embarked on our incredible BOSthón journey – an annual Tango Marathon in Boston, brimming with amazing music, passionate dancers, and hand-selected DJs. BOSthón is more than just tango; it's about the tango community. With great pleasure, we invite tango addicts to join us for the twelfth time! Come dance with the most welcoming, inviting, engaging, and downright delightful dancers around. Our role-balanced BOSthón features full days of dancing to music spun by world-renowned DJs. We'll provide lunches and plenty of snacks to keep you energized. Additionally, we'll be welcoming back vendors with beautiful tango shoes, clothing, and other goods for you to explore and acquire.

This year, we are delighted to announce that BOSthón 2024 will be held at a stunning new location. Our new venue offers numerous amenities that promise to make this year's marathon truly unforgettable. Here's what you can look forward to:
- A huge ballroom with a beautiful stage, room for sitting, and access to outside rest areas.
- A beautiful venue with ample parking, ensuring a hassle-free arrival for all attendees.
- A separate room for an alternative milonga.
- A fully equipped kitchen, where we'll be preparing delicious meals to keep you energized throughout the event.
- Separate dining and resting areas, ensuring your comfort and relaxation between dances.
- Great speakers to enhance your experience with captivating music.
- Multiple separate rooms for classes, allowing for a diverse range of them.
- A fantastic outdoor rest area, perfect for soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying some fresh air.
But that's not all! Our new venue is located right on Main Street in Waltham, surrounded by restaurants, hotels, and Airbnb options. With a bus number 70 stop conveniently located near the venue, you'll have easy direct access to downtown Boston and Cambridge. Plus, it's just a quick 20-minute drive from the airport.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Dear out-of-town guests, eight years ago, we initiated the "BOSthón Tango Houses" program, which connects travelers coming to BOSthón to help them find a place to stay. Typically, we secure 10-12 AirBnBs near the venue, each capable of hosting between 4-14 dancers. Staying at one of these houses is much more cost-effective than a hotel. Plus, it's an opportunity to reunite with old friends and make new ones, share meals, and coordinate rides! It's one of the ways we ensure that BOSthón remains the friendliest and warmest marathon. If you would like to participate in a Tango House this year, please let me know, and I will connect you with other BOSthónians!
