Dare you to spend a full night inside one of the country’s most haunted houses?📰 Parts of this Manor House date back to the 14th century as a small Pele tower which is still visible today, but references to this site date as far back as the Dooms day book when a Priest’s house was listed as occupying the site.
The fortified Pele was later expanded into a home for priests - their secret hiding holes and confession boxes are still visible in the house. The ruins of their chapel are still visible in the garden, linked to the house via a secret tunnel.
Some of you may recognise this house from TV - The Ghosts of Motley Hall used Borwick Hall for exterior shots. But it is more known for its real life hauntings.
A Scottish soldier was killed on the grounds in 1745 - many people still see him.
Generations of wealthy families have lived here over the centuries, with hauntings that date back hundreds of years. A young girl starved to death by her own parents haunts one room in particular. Her crying at night is the reason school trips avoid Room 14…
Wrap up warm. People say it gets icy cold in that room…
We will use advanced paranormal equipment, and conduct seances as we will attempt to speak to the dead.
Sleeping over is also included in the price. There are several dorms and single rooms that guests can sleep over in.…such as an original priest’s panel bedroom
