Borromeo String Quartet
Each visionary performance of the award-winning Borromeo String Quartet (BSQ) strengthens and deepens its reputation as one of the most important ensembles of our time.
Admired and sought-after for both its fresh interpretations of the classical music canon and its championing of works by twentieth- and twenty-first-century composers, the ensemble has been hailed for its “edge-of-the-seat performances,” by the "Boston Globe", which called it “simply the best.”
The BSQ has collaborated with some of this generation’s most important composers, including John Cage, György Ligeti and Leon Kirchner, and has performed on major concert stages across the globe, including Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie and Wigmore Hall.
Henry Kramer
Praised by "The Cleveland Classical Review" for his “astonishingly confident technique” and "The New York Times" for “thrilling [and] triumphant” performances, pianist Henry Kramer is a musician of rare sensitivity who combines stylish programming with insightful and exuberant interpretations.
A versatile performer, Kramer has been featured as soloist with orchestras around the world, and has collaborated with conductors such as Marin Alsop, Gerard Schwarz and Hans Graf.

This performance is presented as part of the Gogue Center’s 2024–25 Chamber Music Series.
Our 2024–25 season is sponsored by Walt & Ginger Woltosz.

Chamber Music Series performances are excluded from full-season subscription packages; a separate subscription offering tickets to the season’s three chamber music performances will be available.
Full season subscriptions for the 2024–25 season are currently available to Gogue Center subscribers, sponsors and donors. Season and series subscriptions will be available to the general public beginning Tuesday, June 25.
