Nachdem wir uns mit unserem hauseigenen Family Gathering aka Born with a nervous breakdown im April noch gemütlich im Zelt eingemümmelt haben, ist es nun an der Zeit, die Luft im schönsten Garten der Stadt zum Zirkulieren zu bringen.
Mit Fantastic Twins haben wir uns einen Live Act der Herzen eingeladen. Dahinter steckt die beeindruckende Solo-Künstlerin Julienne Dessagne, die uns zuerst durch ihre Kooperationen mit Superpitcher über den Weg gelaufen ist und später auch als begnadete Live-Performerin, die auf Labels wie Optimo Music, Hippie Dance und Kompakt veröffentlicht. Sie betreibt außerdem ein eigenes Label mit dem sympathischen Namen Microdosing.
Kompakt ist dann auch der Link zu Denis Stockhausen, der aus Liebe zum Label von Berlin nach Köln gezogen ist und lange Zeit als Teil des "Stocksaur DJ-Teams" aktiv war, mit dem wir hier schon den ein und anderen Sonntag- (oder war es Montag?) morgen verbracht haben, an dem die Jealousien auf- und wieder zu gingen. Musikalisch ganz im trippigen Teil des Kompakt-Kosmos angesiedelt, ist er ein DJs DJ und ein Sympath, wie er im Buche steht.
Abgerundet wird das ganze wie immer von unseren Residents Barbara Hofmann und Jessamine.

After we were still comfortably nestled in the tent with our in-house Family Gathering aka Born with a nervous breakdown in April, it's now time to get the garden air circulating in the most beautiful garden in town.
With Fantastic Twins we have invited a live act of the hearts. Behind it is the impressive solo artist Julienne Dessagne, who first crossed our paths through her collaborations with Superpitcher and later as a gifted live performer releasing on labels like Kompakt, Optimo Music and Hippie Dance. She also runs her own label with the likeable name Microdosing.
Kompakt is then also the link to Denis Stockhausen, who moved from Berlin to Cologne out of love for the label and was akltiv for a long time as part of the "Stocksaur DJ Team", with whom we have already spent here one or the other Sunday (or was it Monday?) morning, on which here and there the jealousies went open and closed again. Musically located in the trippy part of the Kompakt cosmos, he is a DJs DJ and a sympathizer, as he stands in the book.
As always, the whole thing is rounded off by our residents Barbara Hofmann and Jessamine.
