Our Kids Welcome concert series invites families into a relaxed, welcoming space where live music can be enjoyed together. These afternoon shows are family-friendly but not children’s music. Expect engaging performances, room for movement, and a warm community atmosphere.
Born Too Late has been offering up musical nostalgia in the Twin Ports since 2016, when siblings Traxx and Rokkyn Nelson-Kavajecz first started gigging around town as 9- and 11-year-olds. Their style is 1970s and ’80s rock and country, and their love of this music is what led to the band name. While they started out doing covers, they have since branched out into writing original music in the same vein, with Traxx playing acoustic guitar and both Nelson-Kavajecz’s producing vocal harmonies. Their second album, Terrible Twos, was released in October 2024.
