In this Moment: A Music & Meditation Experience is an event that will uplift and inspire audiences through the inward and outward journey of meditation and music. This experience begins with a guided meditation, followed by a sound bath with crystal singing bowls, culminating in a live Hip-Hop performance incorporating elements of dance, theater and more. During his workshop, one will be guided through a meditation and sound bath experience where individuals will practice self-kindness and self-compassion.Born I (Ofosu Jones-Quartey) is an accomplished musician and meditation teacher from the Washington D.C. area. Whether he’s rapping over singing bowls in an art gallery (a new expression he dubbed “Hip Hop Soundbath”), sharing mindfulness with families or performing with pyrotechnics at EDC Las Vegas, Born I has a singular message: You Are Enough. His vision of bringing the worlds of Hip Hop and Mindfulness together expands the potential of both music and wellness, now and in the future. “I want to create music and experiences for people to understand that it’s ok to be exactly who you are.
