About this Event
Join the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice for a panel and reception with the Border Fellows to celebrate the end of this cohort's fellowship! Lunch will be provided.
The Kroc Border Fellows program brings together leaders working to build a more inclusive and peaceful Mexico-U.S. border region. The program engages in action oriented research and meaningful community partnerships to strengthen peace and justice on both sides of the border.
During the program, the Kroc Border Fellows contribute to a cross-border network of local scholars, practitioners, and policymakers who work to reduce vulnerabilities for women, provide opportunities for at-risk youth, protect migrants, increase access to justice, contribute to environmental resilience, and prevent violence and human rights abuses.
