About this Event
Join us on Thursday, October 9th at 6:30pm for this incredible opportunity to taste a collection of highly regarded Bordeaux reds (many unavailable in retail), with Washington and California counterparts added in for comparison. We will taste through six highly regarded Bordeaux reds (many of which are not available in retail), plus a Washington Cabernet Sauvignon and a classic California example. You’ll learn about the history, winemaking traditions, and defining characteristics of Bordeaux’s left bank—all while comparing them to modern interpretations from the West Coast.
Your ticket includes:
- Guided tasting of 8 wines (6 Bordeaux, 1 Washington, 1 California)
- Educational lecture and discussion
- Printed tasting materials
- Palate cleansers (yes, that means bread and butter!)
- Optional food pre-order to enjoy during class
- And of course, a well-earned sense of accomplishment
Tickets:
$90.00 for non-members
$85.00 for wine club members
This is truly an experience that should not be missed for any who revere French wine, or who are eager to learn more.
