Join us for a fun evening at The Kitchen by Vangura for a Bordeaux: Left Bank or Right Bank with the fabulous Jill Kummer!
If you know a bit about Bordeaux, France, or chatted with friends over a bottle from the region, the conversation of Left Bank versus Right Bank wines will arise. This debate has nothing to do with cash flow or sports, but everything to do with the river banks in Bordeaux, which correspond with different styles of wines.
Confused? We will taste and explore the differences between Left Bank and Right Bank wines so you can drink and discuss them confidently.
We will have snack boards to compliment your tasting.
About your Instructor
Jill Kummer has been a culinary instructor for several years, teaching at both Westmoreland County Community college and Pittsburgh Technical College, specializing in beverage management/wines and spirits. After a successful career in food and beverage within the hotel industry, she made the decision to explore teaching opportunities within the hospitality industry. The study of beverages, specifically wine, has always been a passion and has shown throughout her career.
