BOP – Books on Photography – is the annual photobook festival from Martin Parr Foundation and The Royal Photographic Society. This year BOP will take place 08 to 09 OCT and be held across the MPF gallery, RPS House and the Paintworks Event Space, Bristol.The festival brings together a wide-ranging group of photobook publishers who will be showcasing new work, as well as booksellers and photographers from across Europe.
The festival is accompanied by a programme of artist talks, events, book signings, a book making workshop, a photo pub quiz, street food, coffee and beer. Publishers taking part in the festival include GOST, Setanta Books, Café Royal Books, Magnum Photos, Overlapse and many more, with over 50 stall holders joining for the weekend.
There will also be special events at MPF and The RPS on the evening of 07 OCT.
