This book club is for anyone who loves to read and might be open to discussing controversial topics. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm. The book of the month might not currently be banned in Florida but it is on a list of banned books. The purpose of the club is to discuss books that might be considered controversial and have an open dialogue about the book and what might have led to those decisions.

April 17th - Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
May 15th - Lord of the Flies by William Golding
June 19th - need leader
July 17th - need leader
August 21st - The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
September 18th - need leader
October 16th - need leader
November 20th - need leader
December 18th - need leader
We encourage you to check the book out of your local library but also The Book Rescuers in Pinellas Park has a banned book section. Back in the Day Books might have these books on their shelves as well.
