-SOLD OUT- Chapter2 Books and Black Rooster Bistro are hosting their monthly get-together, Booze & Books, Thursday, April 10th @ 6pm! Featuring local author, Eric Dregni. Eric Dregni is professor of English, journalism, and Italian at Concordia St. Paul and the dean of the Italian Concordia Language Village, Lago del Bosco. He worked in Italy for five years as a travel journalist for a weekly paper. His personal essays were compiled into a book in Italian, Grazie a Dio non sono Bolognese, which was later translated into English as Never Trust a Thin Cook published by the U of M Press. He’s the author of 20 books including In Cod We Trust, The Life Vespa, Weird Minnesota, Zamboni, Vikings in the Attic, The Scooter Bible, You're Sending Me Where? Dispatches from Summer Camp, and Impossible Road Trip. He lives in Minneapolis but leads trips to Italy or Norway nearly every year.Chapter2 Books will be offering books for purchase at the event. The $12 ticket fee covers a custom cocktail from Black Rooster Bistro created to celebrate the author's work (non-alcoholic option available also)!
