About this Event
The Tufts Food & Nutrition Innovation Institute hosts BOOTSTRAPS - A Documentary Film Screening. This event will explore universal basic income as a tool for economic prosperity.
The event will be held on March 6th at 150 Harrison Avenue in Boston on the Tufts Medical School campus from 3-5 pm, with a reception to follow. The format includes a sneak peek screening of scenes from the upcoming docuseries (directed by Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Deia Schlosberg) and an interactive discussion featuring expert panelists and speakers, including the Cambridge Community Foundation.
The discussion will focus on the wide-ranging and complex economic realities of life in America, and the effects a universal basic income could have on those realities, at both the individual and societal levels.
