About this Event

Join us at Latinx with Plants in our backyard greenhouse for one of our first official workshops of the summer: our fan-favorite Bootquet workshop!

Latinx with Plants founder and owner Andi Xoch will teach participants a few different painting techniques, such as spray painting and hand painting, and everyone will receive a handmade ceramic cowboy boot to paint and customize however they like. She'll then teach folks how to create a flower arrangement using fresh flowers, and each participant will be able to customize their arrangement however they'd like to take home with them!
All materials will be provided. Bring a loved one or a friend, and stretch your creative muscles during this fun summer workshop! And if you can, use this opportunity to support other small businesses in Boyle Heights & surrounding areas who are hurting from the impact of ICE raids in our communities. Grab a drink or grab a bite, and stop by for the workshop!

This event will be held outdoors in our backyard greenhouse, which can be a bit chilly in the evenings after the sun goes down; please dress accordingly. Our backyard is somewhat ADA accessible, with a ramp leading out to the back, but the majority of the backyard is paved with gravel, which can be hard for some folks to navigate. Please keep this in mind when RSVP'ing.
