Our featured speakers are Shawanda Mason & Jennifer Holder, founders of The Chattery, a proud women-founded and Black-led non profit organization dedicated to cultivating an expansive community of learners and teachers through fun, affordable, and accessible learning and art experiences for adults.
Shawanda serves as the Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Chattery—a Chattanooga-based nonprofit that advocates for lifelong learning. When she’s not working or testing recipes, you can usually find her watching reruns of The Office and hanging out with her husband and daughter.
Jennifer Holder is Co-Founder and Operations Director at The Chattery. In her spare time, she is going on adventures with her husband and son or sitting on the couch watching comedies—from sitcoms to sketches.
At The Chattery, you can learn from a variety of community leaders, experts and hobbyists all who share a love for teaching, learning and exploring curiosities. Classes are dreamt up and taught by you—in other words, our classes are for the community, by the community.
