Bozeman Magazine is excited to announce “Books Who Breathe,” an innovative event meant to inspire dialogue between community members. This event is based on The Human Library® founded in Copenhagen in 2000. The HL hosts events where readers can ‘check out’ human beings who serve as open books, and have conversations they would not normally have access to. The HL organization aims to challenge stigma and stereotypes through dialogue.
Upon arrival at Bozeman's Books Who Breathe, attendees will browse a catalog of available human books (Books Who Breathe), choose one, and engage in a one-on-one 30-minute conversation with them.
Local Books Who Breathe for the April 2025 event include Bozeman Magazine Publisher Angie Ripple, Psychic Medium/Author/Teacher Kathleen Johns, Casting Director Tina Buckingham, Green Coalition of Gay Loggers for Jesus founder Brian Leland with several more to be announced soon!
