The James Arthur Albert Foundation will be holding its annual Books & Bricks for Belize Auction & Party in the fabulous, elegant Tea Room on the top floor of 713 Walnut Street, downtown Des Moines, on August 22, 2024. The goal of this event is to raise the funds needed to send 300 Belize kids to high school whose families don't have the $250 to purchase books and shoes for them to go and to support the functions of the Foundation's internet center bringing satellite internet to our scholars in the jungle in Belize. With your help, we can make these children's dreams come true.Cold beer, good food, and great people...together again!
5:30 - 7:00 pm. Happy Hour
7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Program and Auction, including a video from the Children in Belize.
All proceeds from the event benefit the James Arthur Albert Foundation.
