The Women’s Fellowship Group’s February “Books and Breakfast” gathering will be on Saturday, February 1st at 9:30 am. We are reading "The Women" by Kristin Hannah."The Women" is a novel about one woman who goes to war in Vietnam, but it shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm’s way and whose sacrifice and commitment to their country has too often been forgotten. A novel about deep friendships and bold patriotism, "The Women" is a richly drawn story with a memorable heroine whose idealism and courage under fire will come to define an era.
The book can be borrowed from your local library or bought through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or other locations where books are sold. You should get and read the book on your own, and then we'll discuss it over breakfast.
A light breakfast will be provided, but please bring your own beverage. We will meet at the church in the Conference Room.
