Starting in October, join us on first Fridays each month for an evening where the wisdom of yoga meets the joy of reading. Our studio book club is a welcoming space for curious minds and open hearts to come together, explore meaningful texts, and connect through conversation. Each month, we focus on a selected book that weaves together themes of yoga philosophy, mindfulness, well-being, or personal growth. The evening will begin with a short grounding pranayama practice to help us arrive present and centered. From there, we will move into discussion, reflecting on how the book’s teachings intersect with our own experiences both on and off the mat. This is not a lecture, but a dialogue: everyone’s insights are valued, whether you have read the entire book or a single chapter.
Our aim is to create a supportive community where reading becomes a shared practice of inquiry, reflection, and growth. You’ll leave not only with inspiration from the text, but also with new perspectives sparked by the group.
What to Bring:
> Your copy of the current book (not required, but helpful)
> A journal or notebook if you’d like to jot down reflections
> Your water bottle - a Hibiscus Berry tea from Honorguard Coffee will be served for your enjoyment.
> 10/3 book: Tantra of the Yoga Sutras by Alan Finger and Wendy Newton
This gathering is designed for all levels of readers and practitioners. No prior experience with yoga philosophy is necessary—just an openness to explore ideas and share in community.
This event is donation based, and your contributions support free studio events. Cash and Venmo accepted in-studio during event.
