Come join us as we meet Bakersfield authors and learn all about their writing process and their journey to becoming published! You will have an opportunity to begin your very own story. We will also feature a registered dietician/chef extraordinaire/homeschool mama who will share her amazing skills directly with you!
We encourage you to submit a work sample highlighting what your student learned from this field trip during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these opportunities.
Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.
**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**
May I pay using my funds? This field trip is FREE!
Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Eventbrite. This applies to babies, toddlers, siblings, and adults. Individuals who have not registered will be asked to leave
