Please welcome Meg Jerit to celebrate The Moonies: Journey to the Total Solar Eclipse!
This event is free and open to the public.

- Run time: 30 minutes, followed by a signing line.
- Location: The second floor of BookPeople.
The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the storytime.
- To get a book signed, a copy of the event book or an item of equal value must be purchased from BookPeople.

- Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There will not be a live stream or recording available.

About the book:
Meet the Moonies! The astronomer Professor Looney Moonie, the astrologer, Starla Moonie, and their interstellar kids, Sunny and Crater. And we can't forget their cosmic canine, Shadow.
Follow them as they adventure from their home on Mars to Austin, Texas to witness the celestial majesty of the Total Solar Eclipse!
About the author:
Meg Jerit is a writer, children's book author, and poet. She is originally from Memphis, Tennessee where she graduated from Rhodes College. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction writing from Columbia College Chicago and attended the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop in 2022. She now lives in Austin, Texas with her partner and their two big dogs.
