Please welcome Don Tate for a special storytime to celebrate Prince: A Little Golden Book Biography!
This event is free and open to the public.
- Start time: 10:30 A.M.
- Run time: 45-60 minutes, followed by a signing line.
- Location: The second floor of BookPeople.
The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the speaking portion of the event.
- To get a book signed, a copy of the event book or an item of equal value must be purchased from BookPeople.
- For high volume events, post-talk signing lines can become very long. For such events, we recommend arriving and checking in to the event early as that will get you into an earlier signing group.

About the author:
Don Tate is the award-winning creator of numerous picture books, including Roto & Roy Helicopter Heroes, Roto and Roy To The Rescue, and biographies such as Jerry Changed the Game!: How Engineer Jerry Lawson Revolutionized Video Games Forever; Pigskins to Paintbrushes: The Story of Football-Playing Artist Ernie Barnes; and William Still and His Freedom Stories: The Father of the Underground Railroad. Tate’s accolades include an Ezra Jack Keats Book Award and Honor, a Carter G. Woodson Book Award and Honor, two Christopher Awards, and several others. He lives with his family in Austin, Texas. The latest book he’s illustrated is a Little Golden Book of Prince!
