Please welcome Cate Berry and Liz Garton Scanlon to celebrate Scorch, Hedgehog of Doom!
This event is free and open to the public.

- Location: The second floor of BookPeople.
The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the speaking portion of the event.
- To get a book signed, a copy of the event book or an item of equal value must be purchased from BookPeople.

About the author:
Cate Berry is the author of five books with more forthcoming in 2026. She holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, with an emphasis in humor, and has been a featured presenter at the Texas Book Festival, The Writing Barn, Association of Writers and Writing Programs, and many SCBWI conferences. Ms. Berry is the former humor columnist for Austin Family Magazine is a current editor at Bushel & Peck Books. www.cateberry.com
About the moderator:
Liz Garton Scanlon is the author of numerous beloved books for young people, including the highly-acclaimed, Caldecott-honored picture book, All the World, two middle grade novels, and the recently released chapter book series, Bibsy Cross, a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Liz serves as faculty co-chair at the Vermont College of Fine Arts and lives in Austin, Texas.
