About the book:
When Halloween turns her world upside down, tiny but determined Belle must decide what is truly scary and what might just be part of the night's magic. A playful, tender story about courage, curiosity, and one very brave little dog.
About the author:
Cindy J. Vanous is a Dallas–Fort Worth children’s book author who has always loved stories, especially the quiet ones that stay with you.
An award-winning and critically recognized author, she found her way into writing in an unexpected way—when a story came to her and she chose to follow it. That story became her first book, and she hasn’t been able to stop writing since.
Her stories are inspired by the small things she notices in the world around her and often reflect themes of kindness, belonging, and seeing the beauty in all things.
By purchasing a book from BookPeople, you are not only supporting a local, independent business – you’re showing publishers that they should continue sending authors to BookPeople.
Thank you for supporting Cindy Vanous, William Flint, and your local independent bookstore!
