Drawing on her experience building rock/metal Code Orange into a Grammy-nominated act, Reba Meyers will host a conversation about booking and management for artists. She will offer tips and provide examples from her own 15 years of experience. Reba has practical insights in dealing with booking and management in what is generally a male-dominated field. The end of the session will be focused on identifying specific and achievable next steps for participants to prepare them to book their own performances. Light snacks provided! Stagecraft will create a space for young women and gender expansive folks to build their voice and confidence through the art of staged performance. Stagecraft, will be available to performers practicing any performance art centered around voice whether it’s music, theater, or spoken word poetry. By completing the Stagecraft program, participants will have skills to continue working in performing arts while also gaining skills that will translate into any kind of public presentation; how to work a room, how to make a pitch, etc. https://www.stagecraftpgh.com/
