The Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library are excited to host the inaugural Bookin’ It 5K and Fun Run at Sandy Creek Park. All proceeds benefit the programs and services of the Athens-Clarke County Library.Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner, this event is perfect for bookworms of all ages. We encourage you to dress up as your favorite book character and hit the pavement! Literary-themed prizes will be awarded.
Come out and help to keep our community’s library shelves stocked and its programs flourishing for years to come.

Schedule:
- Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at 8 a.m.
- Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m.
- 5K begins at 9 a.m
Fees:
- 5K: $30 (or $25 with no T-shirt)
- Fun Run: $15 (or $10 with no T-shirt)
- Families of four (two adults, two children) receive a 15% discount
