About this Event
Make a leather journal and a marbled notebook from scratch using specialist bookbinding materials. Learn how to fold, bind and assemble your books and take home a set of instructions so that you can continue the craft at home.
The first book is an 80 page leather bound journal with exposed decorative stitching and your choice of embellishments and fastenings. (If you have made the leather book with me before this is a different binding stitch). Get creative and spend time personalising your leather cover with off cuts of different coloured leather and a range of threads and buttons.
The second book is a simple notebook with a beautiful hand marbled cover. We will do the marbling ourselves so you will get to take home extra marbled papers or include them in your books.
All materials and tools are provided and demonstrations are given at every step. Wide choice of colours available so that you can create personal and unique books to your taste.
Please bring lunch and your reading glasses.
