The Lawrence Public Library is pleased to host a book launch of “Massachusetts Street” by Lawrence physician and founder of lawrencehistorytours.com, Dr. Bob Dinsdale, in partnership with the Watkins Museum.
Bob spent a year collecting photos and stories about Mass Street, the heart of Lawrence, where we all gather to celebrate, campaign, and complain!
Covering the time frame from 1854 to 2022, Massachusetts Street discusses the founding of Lawrence, the disasters, the interesting people, the protests and parades. Its stories tell about the businesses and business owners, the buildings they built, and the infrastructure that has supported them through the years. A book signing will follow Dr. Dinsdale’s presentation, with proceeds going to the Watkins.
