Join the Wilmington Library and Wilmington (DE) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated as they presents renowned author Victoria Christopher Murray is the New York Times and USA Today best selling author of more than 30 novels, including the New York Times Instant Best Sellers, The Personal Librarian and The First Ladies. Both novels, Victoria co-wrote with Marie Benedict.
A native New Yorker, Victoria Christopher Murray attended Hampton University where she majored in Communication Disorders. After graduating, Victoria attended New York University’s Stern Business School where she received her MBA in Marketing.
Join us for an evening of refreshment drinks and jazz music in tribute to the Harlem Renaissance we engage in a lively moderated author conversation.

Delta Authors On Tour (DAOT) was started under the leadership of Past National President Paulette C. Walker. The goals are to support Delta authors with a book selling cultural arts event, represent the region with a National Arts and Letters Commission initiative, and to promote literacy and Black books to the community. The DAOT makes stops in all seven Delta regions. WAC is hosting the Delta Authors On Tour on behalf of the Eastern Region on Saturday May 17, 2025 at 400 Stanton-Christina Road Newark, DE 19713.
