We're excited to welcome Illinois author J. Lawson to the shop for a book signing and meet & greet! J. Lawson is the author of The Amulets Trilogy (if Vampire Diaries was about shifters instead of vampires and was slightly more PG), The Peculiar Lessons Duology (a college version of Magic School Bus meets A Death in Door County meets some other classroom-based fiction series but focusing on how the students’ life experiences match up with cryptid legends), and Zippers, Three-Way Kisses, And Other Absurdities: My Life as an Ally (a humorous memoir about the author's experience growing up in the LGBTQ+ community and her growth as an ally). Join us on Saturday, July 5th from 10am-12pm to meet the author, discuss her books, and get a copy (or tow!) of your own signed!About the Author: J. Lawson was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, and currently resides in Peoria, Illinois. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a Master's Degree in English Literature. She enjoys reading fantasy, thriller, mystery, and most varieties of fiction. Lawson listens to Lofi or soft jazz when she writes and prefers to do her writing outside of the house.
