Allyson Minor
The Bridge to Understanding
Sunday, March 30 from 11AM - 1PM
Joey is a lively young kangaroo who loves hopping around the Australian bush, always ready for an adventure with his friends.
But when a new friend named Warren, a quiet wallaby with a unique way of seeing the world, joins the group, Joey is unsure how to connect with him.
With the help of others, Joey learns about autism and begins to understand that everyone has their own way of experiencing the world. As Joey and Warren discover shared interests, Joey learns to embrace Warren’s differences—and realizes how much better their adventures become when they work together. Through patience, creativity, and friendship, Joey comes to see that the best way to build something strong isn’t just with materials, but with understanding and respect.

My Brother Rocks The Spectrum Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps to provide an inclusive environment in all communities; to ensure all children can attend classes, social skills programs, and have one-to-one attendant care when needed; to support those with specials needs through employment and additional resources; and to aid community leaders fighting for children of all abilities.
