We’re so excited to welcome local poet Iris Leahy to the shop for a book signing, meet & greet, and poetry reading! Join us on Saturday, March 14th from 2:30-3:30pm to meet the author and purchase a signed copy of Iris' poetry collections, 'Of Heat and Light' and 'Supernova'. Around 4pm Iris will kick off Bobzbay's monthly Open Mic Poetry series with a reading of select poems from her books. Come early to purchase a signed copy of Iris' poetry for yourself & stay late to listen to poetry from members of our community!
Books will be available for purchase at the book signing but they are also available now at the shop if you just can't wait to dive in!

About the Author:
"Iris Leahy is a proud ISU graduate, Central Illinois music teacher, and poet. Her poetry, inspired by the great confessional female poets of the 20th century, aims to bring depth and meaning to the mundane. Focusing on themes of love, loss, and identity, Leahy documents her own experiences in ways that are universally understood. When not writing, she can be found at home crocheting with her cat, Emilia.”
