Come celebrate the publication of a new book by and for the Rockford community, The Rockford Anthology. This collection is filled with short pieces about our city, including many written by current and former students and faculty at Rockford University!Join us to share light snacks and hear authors read their work, with an opportunity to order the book for yourself. Mingle with students, alumni, and faculty at 4:30, with the reading beginning at 5.
We'll be on the main floor of RU's Howard Colman Library, on the east end. If you walk by and look in the glass windows, you'll see us, or just enter through the main entrance and look right.
This event is free to the public, with no RSVP required. Please direct any questions to English Department Chair Dr. Kyle Stedman at [email protected].
Parking is free without a pass in certain spots on campus—definitely in the big Lot A on this PDF, but also for that night only, in Lot D behind the library, where the reading will be held: https://www.rockford.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Campus-Map-Updated-July-2025-1.pdf
Purchase the book at Maze Books downtown or at https://beltpublishing.com/products/the-rockford-anthology.
