He has been a (not very good) male chambermaid in Munich; a laser crystal researcher in Moscow; aid worker in Somalia, Rwanda, Georgia and the Ural Mountains; English and French teacher in Japan; and real estate agent in Croatia, to name but a few.
Paul will be presenting his latest book, Around the World in 80 Disasters, in Zagreb for the first time at Crni mačak on October 5, 2025 at 1900, where he will also be happy to talk about the joys of living in Croatia for the last 23 years.
