We are thrilled to announce our book launch, happening on 27th of April in Berlin.Join us in celebrating the release of a project we’ve been passionately working on for some time. Our book, titled ‘Seeing Berlin Anew,’ draws from the experiences of newcomers in search of what ‘home’ can feel and look like in the ever-changing city of Berlin.
Co-authored by Nour Harastani and Edwar Hanna, ‘Seeing Berlin Anew’ provides insights into the journeys of individuals as they find their footing in Berlin, exploring the complex processes involved in migrants’ adaptation and the creation of a sense of home in unfamiliar settings.
Renowned artist and illustrator George Butler has brought these stories to life by providing sketches that accompany the stories we’ve collected from newcomers. By attending, you will also have the unique opportunity to acquire some of these sketches on printed postcards.
