WHO & WHAT: A BOOK LAUNCH event with author & founder/CEO of Blavity Inc. & Afrotech, Morgan DeBaun, as we celebrate the launch of a transformative guide to leaving hustle culture behind to create a more sustainable, balanced definition of success. Moderated by Emmy-nominated actress, writer, producer & comedian Yvonne Orji.

SLIDING SCALE: Pay what you can! This donation-based ticket DOES NOT include a copy of the book and entry is based on capacity at the door. Additonal signed books may be available for purchase on-site (based on availability).

Parking: The NeueHouse parking garage is conveniently located directly behind the building and can be accessed from either El Centro or Gower. Both self-parking and valet options are available. For valet parking, simply follow the designated signs. For self-parking, please adhere to the signs indicating the self-parking area. Handicap parking is available on the 1st floor, just beyond the valet entry. Once parked, proceed to the 1st floor and head south through the courtyard toward Sunset to find NeueHouse Hollywood. Parking validation through NeueHouse is $10 for the day.

Yvonne Orji is an Emmy-nominated Nigerian-American comedian, actress, writer, producer, and author.

OrjiI gives a knockout performance as Issa Rae’s best friend and fan favorite, “Molly” on the HBO comedy series, INSECURE. Her stellar work on the show’s fourth season garnered her an Emmy Nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Her HBO stand-ups special, A WHOLE ME and MOMMA, WE MADE IT, delivered some of the best numbers on the platform in recent years. Before the tapings of both specials, she embarked on tours that included sold-out shows in New York, London, and Los Angeles. She has opened for Chris Rock in several venues across the country including Madison Square Garden and the Barclays.

Her feature film, Fox/Hulu’s VACATION FRIENDS, opposite John Cena and Lil Rel Howery, became Hulu’s most viewed original film to date and was followed up with the sequel HONEYMOON FRIENDS. Yvonne can also be seen in her scene-stealing role in THE BLACKENING, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was released by Lionsgate.

She’s hosted HBO MAX’s reality series MY MOM YOUR DAD from THE OFFICE creator GREG DANIELS as well as Amazon’s fan favorite YEARLY DEPARTED: 2021.

Her debut book, Bamboozled by Jesus: How God Tricked Me Into the Life of My Dreams, was released by Hachette Book Group and has surpassed 100,000 books sold.

Refund Policy:

At Rep Club, we are committed to providing a valuable experience for all attendees. However, we understand sometimes plans change. Below is our refund policy for ticket purchases:

Refund Eligibility

- Requests for refunds must be made no later than 14 calendar days prior to the event date via Eventbrite only.

- After this deadline, no refunds will be issued, except under extraordinary circumstances (see "Force Majeure" below).

- Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser via the original method of payment (i.e. Eventbrite).

Non-Refundable Items

- Processing fees and service charges are non-refundable, unless the event is canceled by the organizer (i.e. Rep Club).

Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

- If the event is canceled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders, including any fees paid.

- If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically be valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, a refund request can be made within 7 calendar days of the rescheduling notice.

No-Show Policy

- If you do not attend the event and have not contacted us by the refund deadline, unfortunately no refund will be issued.
