Kaiden Ford is an international porn star, poet, performer, and model, based out of London. Born in New York in 1997 to conservative Dominican parents, Kaiden turned to poetry at the age of 15 as a mode of self-expression to process the trauma of growing up non-binary and queer in an unaccepting world.

Terse, erudite and brave, I Am Suing My Parents for Emotional Abuse is the first collection of poems from this emerging talent, and gives an authentic and unfiltered insight into the inner world of a young, black, queer person coming to terms with their identity and moving from victimhood to self-realisation and self-love.

Framed around vignettes and memories, these poems are raw, uncompromising, and incredibly brave. They convey a wisdom and talent beyond Ford’s age in numbers.

The collection also expresses itself as physical artefact - printed in a special black ink on striking blood-red paper and naked-bound with black thread, it features an expressive design comprised of remixed Rorschach ink and photographs by art director and photographer Martin Perry (Creative Director of OutThere and Homoculture).
