Join us for a great conversation about thrillers, as TV sports reporter-turned-author Elise Hart Kipness talks with bestselling Huntsville author Robert Bailey about her newest sports thriller, Close Call. Set at the US Open with tennis as the backdrop, this is the third book in the best-selling Kate Green series, though it makes a good standalone read if you're new to Kipness's books.

About Close Call: When TV reporter Kate Green spotlights two female tennis stars, the sunny up-and-comer and the brash veteran, the project goes sideways after one turns up missing. One player receives a sinister text with a disturbing photo of the other woman, bound and gagged. Kate calls on her estranged father, an NYPD detective, for help in launching a search, which leads to the victim’s hometown. About Elise Hart Kipness: Elise Hart Kipness is a national TV sports reporter turned bestselling author of the Kate Green series, which has been optioned by a major network for TV. The Kate Green series is based on Elise’s experience in the high-pressure, adrenaline-pumping world of live TV.
