In 1993 Dave Gardner a Preston basedsongwriter and musician was plucked from
obscurity to sharing the stage with American
songwriter and actor Kris Kristofferson. With
no management or agent representation – Kris
signed off on Dave. Following the tour Dave
then went on to play with The Kinks on their
1993/94 final tour and Genesis guitarist Steve
Hackett.
In between the high profile touring around the
UK and Europe - Dave played the UK Folk
Circuit sharing stages with Michael Chapman,
Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, John Martyn
and Pentangle amongst others.
Today Dave fronts The Hellfire
Preachers. His latest solo project
Tales of the Road & The Wilderness
book is his debut as a published
author. The book has a soundtrack
album of the same name with each
song inspired by each chapter in the
book.
The evening will be visual and interactive storytelling with live music.
