Join us for our Book Folding Workshop, where you will learn the art of folding pages within a book to create a 3D image. Book folding instruction will be held 6-7pm with workshop and project assistance from 7-9pm. Participants are welcome to leave after instruction and finish their project later or stay for the remainder of the time.Please note: Fresh Fridays (Open Mic) will be going on in the gallery from 7:00-10:00 pm. Feel free to take your project in and enjoy some live music, poetry, comedy and more while you work. Work time can also be spent in the classroom where it tends to be quiet and participants are welcome to bring headphones/earbuds for use as they complete their project.
Participants will need to PROVIDE YOUR OWN BOOK. The book should be hardcover and have at least 326 pages (it can be more but not less) and the pages need to be at least 21cm tall.
Instruction and materials to do the folding are included with the cost of the class.
